Alert

My friend Doug has started his own blog, concerned mostly with his art work that is not dance/performance. I've known Doug for (gad! that many years?) a long time, and he's one of the most consistently creative people in my universe.

Check him out at The Blog o' Doug. I love the collages.

He's actually the one who was the impetus for "Redemption," an installation I did for World AIDS Day several years ago. As last-minute curator, he called around and said "Got anything I can put up on the wall for this?" I, of course, said "Sure." And then decided I had to do a new piece in three weeks.

And "Redemption" will be the next gallery at a/k/a Hunter.
