The Map

I haven't looked at The Map for a few days -- still no hits from Antarctica, but some interesting developments. My major centers seem to be the San Francisco Bay area (thanks, Piet), Kansas City (?), D.C. and up through the Northeast, Atlanta, the Midwest, London, Sydney/Melbourne, a respectable showing from Germany (you're always welcome here, Firle), but I'm also getting a fair amount of traffic from Beijing, Manila, Hong Kong, what I'm guessing is Kuala Lumpur, Rio, and somewhere in South Africa (Johannesburg? Gads, has my geography gotten rusty!).

Sobering, that.

Must be the promise of naked men.

Really, it fascinates me to realize that I've had visitors from all over the world to a blog I never expected anyone to read -- and that they can find it.

You have to understand, we didn't have a TV until I was five or six. I sometimes wonder if technology hasn't outstripped my ability to comprehend it.
