Torture Note: Better Late Than Never

This is interesting. I won't comment on the lateness of it -- the two commenters so far (as of this posting), as well as the reporter, have done that.

But what I find interesting is that Land refers solely to our founding documents, and not any teachings of Christ. I'm not sure what that means.

(There doesn't seem to be a link anywhere to Land's full statement -- otherwise, as you know full well, I would have included it -- so my comment about the content of Land's remarks has to be taken as provisional, although I'm sure if Land had made any reference to the basic beliefs of Christianity, it would have been reported.)
