Looks as though the Hairpiece's new anti-trans policy is not getting a lot of support. It's not only the usual suspects who are condemning it, but he's getting brickbats from the likes of John McCain:
Orrin Hatch:
Joni Ernst:
Log Cabin:
Even Caitlyn Jenner has made a statement condemning the policy.
But, Trump is getting support from Matt Barber.

Add a little irony to the mix -- an anniversary: 69 years ago.
Digby's comment: "Trump and his voters would like to reverse that too, I'm sure."
Any American who meets current medical and readiness standards should be allowed to continue serving. There is no reason to force service members who are ready to fight, train, and deploy to leave the military – regardless of their gender identity.
Orrin Hatch:
I don’t think anybody should be discriminating against anyone. Transgender people are people, and deserve the best we can do for them.
Joni Ernst:
She believes what is most important is making sure servicemembers can meet the physical training standards, and the willingness to defend our freedoms and way of life,” the spokeswoman said. “Americans who are qualified and can meet the standards to serve in the military should be afforded that opportunity.
Log Cabin:
This smacks of politics, pure and simple. The United States military already includes transgender individuals who protect our freedom day in and day out. Excommunicating transgender soldiers only weakens our readiness; it doesn’t strengthen it.
Even Caitlyn Jenner has made a statement condemning the policy.
There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. What happened to your promise to fight for them? https://t.co/WzjypVC8Sr
