Legal Geek

I don't know what it is about legal filings -- briefs, decisions, and the like -- but I can't resist reading them.  In this case, it's pretty entertaining.  LCR demolished the government's motion for a stay of Judge Phillips' injunction barring enforcement of DADT:

  1. "Demolished" is mild -- they ripped that sucker up and mopped the floors with it. I've been reading it with increasing pleasure and giggling as I go. That probably makes me a bad person . . .

    That's what happens when government lawyers are recruited from Liberty University Law School.
