Two-Legged Snake

No, not my ex-boyfriend. This is a real snake that lived 92 million years ago. It's pretty interesting the way they were able to discern the legs in the fossil matrix -- really high-tech.



The two legs were probably useless, since they were pretty much vestigial -- only about 2 cm long, less than an inch.

But still . . . .
