I feel impelled to comment on this story, but I've got a hellish schedule for the next couple of days that won't allow me the time or space to really think about it. In the meantime, Andrew Sullivan has been keeping up with it and noted a lot of points that most people seem to be missing.
Maybe I'll be able to say something intelligent once the story has developed a bit more.
